The voltage source cannot work normally after the voltage source is connected in series with the current source.
I used the voltage source module of the Agilent power supply to supply power to the npn transistor, with the positive electrode connected to the collector and the negative electrode connected to the base; the current source module of the Agilent power supply provides power to the npn transistor, and the current source is connected between the base and the emitter. But under actual observation, the voltage source cannot work normally and the voltage at both ends is 0v. Is there any way to solve it?

After emm is actually connected, it seems that the voltage source is short-circuited. But we have a device, which is also connected in this way in the manual. I just connected it according to its connection method.

I don’t know what to do. The current source is used as a BE voltage source. The voltage source is connected in series to turn on the transistor. The voltage between CE is short-circuited by the transistor.

According to the connection method shown in Figure 1, the front panel of the Agilent power supply shows that the voltage across the voltage source should have been set at 5v, but it is actually 0v. The voltage source is placed between B and C to make the collector junction reverse biased with a bias voltage of 5v; the current source is connected between B and E to ensure that the current flowing from the emitter E is constant at 0.1a.
