The MM74HC374WM is a high speed Octal D-Type Flip-Flop integrated circuit that utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology, offering high noise immunity and low power consumption common to standard CMOS integrated circuits. With the ability to drive 15 LS-TTL loads, this device is well-suited for interfacing with bus lines in a bus organized system. The positive edge triggered flip-flops ensure that data at the D inputs is effectively transferred to the Q outputs on positive transitions of the CLOCK (CK) input, while meeting the setup and hold time requirements. Furthermore, the 3-STATE feature and large output drive capability make these devices versatile and functional. When a high logic level is applied to the OUTPUT CONTROL (OC) input, all outputs go to a high impedance state, regardless of the signals present at the other inputs and the state of the storage elements. The 74HC logic family ensures speed, function, and pinout compatibility with the standard 74LS logic family, providing design flexibility. Additionally, internal diode clamps to VCC and ground protect all inputs from damage due to static discharge, ensuring the longevity and reliability of the MM74HC374WM
