Generally, SMBJ series TVS tubes are not used instead, but SS14/SS24/SS34 can be used instead, depending on the output current!

SMBJ30A is a TVS tube, it cannot replace Schottky diode 1N5824. . .

1 No! Different performance;
2 If you can't use the large current output, you can use a low-power tube such as 1N5817 (SS12).
