The MOS tube burned without connecting the load, what is the reason?

As shown below:

If the VGS of AO3415 is ±8V, will this circuit burn?

The originally intended function is to enable 12Vout output when enabled, and no output when enabled.

The previous design is used, and I care too much. Today, I found an AO3415 burned under the condition that the output is not connected to the load. Check the manual to see that VGS is ±8V. Is this the reason?

It should be the problem of Vgs overrun. If you cannot replace Q1 with another PMOS with a higher Vgs range, you must change the board. Add a series resistor at the D pole of Q2 and divide the voltage with R1 to control the G pole of Q1, so that Vgs is not -12V. Too.

The maximum value of the gate-source voltage when q2 is turned on to Q1 is 8V. If it exceeds the 8V safety limit, it will be burned. Disconnect a resistor within 10k from q2 to 3 in series, reducing the gate-source voltage of Q1 to avoid exceeding 8v.

Connect a resistance greater than 5K (such as 5.6k or 6.2k) to the drain (pin 3) of Q2, so that the maximum gate-source voltage of Q1 does not exceed 8V, ensuring safety.
